We process the data in order to provide dental care and to keep medical records, to arrange and to remind you of an appointment, to answer a question you have sent us through the form, by telephone or by e-mail, to issue and record payments, and to measure the traffic of the website and the effectiveness of advertising, if you give us your consent to that.
For health care the basis is the provision of health care under Article 9(2)(h) GDPR together with the statutory duty to keep records. For appointments and enquiries it is the performance of a contract and steps taken at your request before entering into it (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For accounting documents it is a legal obligation (point (c)). For cookies used for measurement and advertising it is solely your consent (point (a)), which you may withdraw at any time.
We do not pass the data to anyone who does not need it in order to do something for us. They are the website hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc.), the booking system provider (Cal.com, Inc.), the form delivery provider (Web3Forms), the provider of the mailbox your message arrives in (Google Ireland Limited), the dental laboratories working on your case, and — if you give consent to measurement and advertising — Google Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. To the National Health Information Centre and to the supervisory authorities we pass data to the extent laid down by law. Some of these companies also process data in the USA on the basis of a European Commission adequacy decision (EU–US Data Privacy Framework) or of standard contractual clauses.
Medical records we keep for the period that Act No. 576/2004 Z. z. lays down for each type of record; we are not allowed to keep them for any shorter time. Accounting documents 10 years. Messages sent through the form and by e-mail we keep in the clinic's mailbox for as long as they are needed to deal with your question and for the care that follows, at most 24 months from the last communication; then we delete them. Cookie consent 12 months, after which we ask again.
You have the right of access to your data and to a copy of it, to rectification of incorrect data, to erasure, to restriction of the processing, to portability of data processed on the basis of consent or of a contract, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. It is enough to write to [email protected]; we will reply within one month. You may lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava.
You may object at any time to processing that we base on a legitimate interest — in particular on securing the operation of the website. After an objection we will end such processing unless we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds which override your interests and rights.
Part of the data we process because the law requires us to — medical records, statutory reports and accounting documents. This processing is not based on consent, it cannot be withdrawn, and without this data we cannot provide you with treatment.
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser. Necessary cookies we may use without consent; for everything else we need your prior consent under § 109(8) of Act No. 452/2021 Z. z. on electronic communications. Until you give it, no analytics or advertising script runs.
They keep the website working — they remember your answer to the cookie bar. Without them we would ask you on every page load.

They measure whether an advertisement on Google or on Facebook and Instagram brought you to us. Only in this category does the data also reach the companies Google and Meta, which process it for their own purposes as well. We never send them your name, telephone number or e-mail.

Withdrawing is exactly as simple as giving consent and does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal. You can also delete cookies directly in your browser settings.
